Over the past 20 years, GPRS has built a national reputation for its innovations, lead generation and digital marketing services, and proprietary media tracking and measurement platform GP Insights(TM).

Summary

GPRS is looking for an experienced, freelance, Business to Business (B2B) content strategist and copywriter (preferably in the technology industry) to work with our team. This freelance individual would be tasked with leading content direction, as well as producing the copy needed on specific projects. This includes developing copy that supports both large and small initiatives such as websites, email nurture campaigns, blog posts, advertising campaigns, social media campaigns, thought leadership pieces, pitch decks, and marketing one-sheeters. The right individual for this opportunity is not only a skilled and creative writer, but also detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and edit copy that is accurate, well-researched, engaging and results-driven.
  • Conceptualize the direction for projects ranging from websites, to thought leadership pieces, to pitch decks/presentations - and work with design team to deliver a cohesive end product.
  • Adept at writing both long form and short form copy.
  • Tailor messaging to serve the needs of different audiences, ranging from business leaders to middle managers responsible for procuring B2B services and technology solutions.
  • Research industry trends, terminology, and competitive landscape to demonstrate subject matter expertise in your writing, as well as to generate content topic ideas.
  • Strong communication with project managers and account services to ensure client deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or comparable field of study.
  • 5+ years of copywriting experience in advertising, marketing editorial or online marketing/media communications.
  • Proven strength contributing to the creative process and providing strategic direction.
  • Experience with content development across multiple channels and mediums.
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills, high attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Thrives in working with fast-paced teams.
  • Familiarity with the AP Stylebook preferred.
  • Experience writing for Business to Business (B2B) services and solutions companies is required. Experience within the technology industry is preferred.
