Currently, we operate three brands that serve households in the US, Europe, and Australia: Marley Spoon, Martha Stewart & Marley Spoon, and Dinnerly.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Content Manager to join our US Content team working across both of our US meal kit brands: Martha Stewart & Marley Spoon and Dinnerly. Our ideal candidate is a good food-obsessed creative marketing professional with a history of crafting effective copy across channels; an exceptional writer capable of incorporating customer insights and data to tell compelling brand stories; and a collaborative team player who supports in attracting and retaining customers with expertise on all things marketing content. This position is based out of our NYC office with a hybrid work schedule.


Requirements

What Youll Do:

  • Write and proof copy for assets and campaigns to be used across marketing channels and various parts of the customer journey; including, but not limited to, CRM email, push & SMS, offline, digital, social.
  • Employ data and customer insights to iterate and improve on existing content.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices for email, web, and mobile content and contribute knowledge to our overall content and communications strategy.
  • Craft and edit copy using brand style guide and standards, ensure alignment of tone of voice across channels.
  • Own blog content from conception to execution helping to transform it into a space for digital content that is well-executed, engaging, and a place to amplify offerings and campaigns.
  • Brainstorm and lead concepts for campaigns, activations, and one-off initiatives
  • Support customer communications with copy for email and push
  • Support on ad-hoc content projects as needed

Experience

Who you are:

  • 3 years of work experience in marketing content, communications and/or copywriting roles. (Its a plus if that previous experience was with a food-centric brand, agency, or company.)
  • Proud of your exceptional writing skills and known for your attention to detail - no typo left behind.
  • Were passionate about getting more people to cook at home, so wed love it if you are no stranger to the kitchen. In the least, you can appreciate a great meal when you eat one!
  • Whether youre a list-maker, note-taker, or calendar-keeper (or all of the above), youre a pro at staying organized so that you can effectively work on and deliver content for multiple work streams in parallel.
  • You love a good deadline because youre expert at crushing them.
  • A team player with strong communication skills that enable you to effectively collaborate with numerous stakeholders.
  • A creative thinker who loves to brainstorm, but can equally think on your feet for those moments when time is of the essence.
  • Experienced in working with various CMS, project management and communication tools (e.g. Wordpress, Unbounce, Asana, Slack)
  • You thrive in an autonomous work environment.
  • Youve got an analytical mindset and natural curiosity. Knowing what to do isnt enough because you have a natural need to understand the why.
  • Well-versed in the nuances of how a customer engages with content at various points in the customer (and potential customer) journey.

  • The pay range for this position in NYC is $70,000-85,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location.
