The Cost Controller provides analytical insight to optimize the financial performance of the AFEs, Engineering inventory consumption and assigned projects through:

• Organize and produce efficient and timely reporting, with relevant content, forward focus, in accordance with Group instructions,
• Provide input for operating cash flows forecasting for AFEs, Engineering inventory and assigned projects,
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and PPE reconciliation,
• Manage monthly depreciation runs and potential impairments,
• Management of certain Transfer Pricing tasks for related AFEs and assigned projects, in collaboration with the Tax Manager and Finance Controller F P & A
• Identifying efficiency savings (e.g. cost savings and time savings)
• Attend various meetings on behalf of the finance team and feedback relevant information to the latter.
• Active involvement in maintaining and improving the Companys ERP system, continuously improving/introducing automated reports.
• Ad Hoc tasks to support VP Operations, Head of Engineering and CTO.

Requirements

• Degree level qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related subject preferred
• Knowledge, experience and skills in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control and commercial management principles
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Good presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
• Computer literacy skill set includes MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
