Position Overview

Provide creative solutions and exceptional service to Jake's current and potential customers to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability.

Position Responsibilities

  • Present, promote, and sell products/services by communicating the benefits to existing and prospective customers.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze the market's potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and market trends.
  • Promote a positive attitude within the company and follow our core values.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
  • Participate in all sales/marketing functions as it relates to company business.
  • Leverage resources such as local brokers/manufacturers to maximize growth within your territory.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Act ethically and treat team members, customers, vendors, and visitors with respect.
  • Is adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Must be a team player and able to work harmoniously and effectively with others and perform well under pressure.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to anticipate, plan for the future, and realign priorities quickly when dealing with unanticipated events.
  • Polished presenter, comfortable presenting and using technology in front of large audiences.
  • Highly developed communication (verbal and written) and listening skills.
  • Ability to lift objects to 50lbs as required.
  • Ability to drive self.

Minimum Experience Required

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative OR culinary/ restaurant management experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and pass all screens
  • Willing to work additional hours, holidays, and weekends as requested

Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality Management preferred.
