Interactive Strategies is looking for a website digital strategist intern to start Summer 2023. We are a DC-based digital agency whose strength lies in understanding the complex relationship between strategy, design, content, usability, technology and marketing.

You would join a team of digital strategists committed to helping our clients bring their important work to life online. You would be instrumental in driving our website strategies forward through information architecture, user experience, user research, stakeholder interviews, analytics analysis, SEO audits, content audits, and competitive analysis to name a few.

We are looking for an intern who takes initiative, is tenacious and has a can-do attitude.

You'll also have the opportunity to cross-over into additional responsibilities of the Account Team including project management, requirements and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Digital Strategist intern include but are not limited to the following:

  • Striving to represent our brand promise: details matter.
  • Participating in project brainstorms to ideate website solutions for clients needs.
  • Supporting development of a websites information architecture (sitemap) and user experience (wireframes).
  • Conducting background research, then summarizing your findings.
  • Generating project documentation from background research typically in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Joining client meetings and providing superior client service and communication as required.
  • Taking on additional duties and responsibilities as they come up, based on agency needs and your skillset/interests.
  • Planning and resourcing.
  • Developing client relationships and providing superior client service.
  • Assisting our project managers by coordinating the efforts of our design, content, development and marketing staff for all assigned projects.
  • Engaging in lead generation and helping to create written proposals.

Requirements

We dont necessarily care how much experience you have; more important is the enthusiasm and talent you bring to the table.

  • Digital savvy undergraduate or recent graduate with strong critical thinking and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital user experience best practices is a plus.
  • Available to start June 2023 and continue through August 2023.
  • Preference is given to candidates in the Washington D.C. area. If located in the Washington D.C. area and your schedule permits, you will ideally come into the office Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, preferably the same hours and days every week.

Benefits

This is a paid internship: $17/hr
