Compensation:

  • Competitive salary range of $180,000 to $190,000 per year.
  • 40% bonus potential based on performance.
  • Full relocation assistance provided.
  • Temporary housing for 60 days will be arranged.

Job Description

This position will oversee all areas of Human Resource administration, including recruitment, salary administration, associate services, associate benefits, management development/training, and labor relations. The role involves providing advice and counsel on all laws affecting the operations in relation to associates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic recruitment plan to identify management-level positions and all hourly positions.
  • Drive and reinforce our resort's culture.
  • Administer salary administration policies and programs. Review and readjust salary ranges annually, conduct local wage surveys, and monitor merit increase pools and increases.
  • Coordinate management development and associate training, and recommend new programs based on need.
  • Oversee the administration of the associate benefit program.
  • Stay informed about all Federal and State laws and keep management advised of changes that affect associates and operations.
  • Provide counsel and assistance to all management personnel regarding associate problems related to supervision and administration.
  • Conduct an annual associate engagement survey in conjunction with corporate personnel.



Requirements

Qualifications

  • Six or more years of experience in HR Management in a four or five diamond property hotel with over 300 associates.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. PHR Certification preferred.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of successful management in an upscale hotel environment.
  • Proven leadership skills that support an environment of employee growth and development, interdepartmental teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative leader who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed.
  • Must be service and detail-oriented, possessing a friendly and approachable demeanor, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
