Director of Sales Call Center Environment Location: US-TX-Plano Email this job to a friend

As Director of Sales you will lead a team of Sales Managers and Sales Agents in a call center environment. As a broker of Life and Medicare Advantage policies we have a variety of programs and agent types that need to be supported. You will ensure that our agents are compliant with regulations, meet their short and long term goals, and have the tools needed to be successful. You will be supported by several sales managers as well as a dynamic team of support personnel that will work with you to be successful. Requirements What you will be doing: - Tactical leader of a call center-based insurance sales team
- Train, coach, and develop a high performing, knowledgeable and engaged sales team.
- Partner with key stakeholders to outline, track and manage sales forecast and performance.
- Support the creation and execution of variable compensation programs for the sales team to include accuracy, transparency, communication, and timeliness.
- Track, review and communicate lead and lag metrics to drive sales initiatives.
- Source, recruit and select sales talent for available and future roles.
- Oversee Recruiting and Team Building of Sales Managers and Sales agents.
- Implement sales onboarding programs to promote the successful acclimation of new sales hires within the organization.
- Retain top talent through employee engagement strategies, recognition programs and team building events.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with operations and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategy and processes.
What were looking for: - College degree in the area of Business Management or other degree combined with experience
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership within an insurance sales brokerage or carrier
- 8+ years of insurance sales experience related to Medicare Advantage
- Thorough knowledge of CMS Sales regulations
- 5+ years of experience leading leaders (i.e. Sales Supervisors/Managers)
- Demonstrated successes in building high performing sales teams
- Call center-based sales experience
- Experience in Life Insurance sales preferred
- Licensed to sell insurance in at least one state (Medical and/or Life) with the ability to be licensed in all 50
