Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. has an outstanding opportunity for an Documentation Specialist II in the Supply Chain group based onsite in our Andover, MA location. The Documentation Specialist II is responsible for creating and revising documentation such as certificates of analyses and safety data sheets for all products. This individual will provide support for special projects, assist colleagues within the department, and complete various other tasks given by supervisors, utilizing PSOs and/or reports to prioritize their responsibilities based on need.

Responsibilities

  • Create and revise Certificates of Analysis (COA) for all outbound orders prior packaging and shipping.
  • Develop, update and revise GHS Compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for all manufactured, imported and shipped products
  • Prepare required documentation for China consolidation orders in collaboration with the regulatory advisor and requirements in place
  • Provide answers to requests from customer service regarding required documentation
  • Approve COAs to ensure compliance to standards in place
  • Create and revise Word-based COAs upon customer request
  • Perform other specific tacks based on business requirements such as:
    • Creation of weighing records and labels for packaging, bulk orders and special orders
    • Send commercial invoices and other scanned documents to international customers via e-mail after shipment
    • Provide Dry Pack reports
    • Run Chemist Status report
    • Run WIP report for chemists
    • Send out drop shipment documentation packages such as picklists, commercial invoices, COAs, SDSs, and filling certificates among others
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be required and actively promote continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Chemistry or Business Administration
  • 2 or more years of experience in documentation management
  • Experience in manufacturing or chemical manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and to manage competing priorities; Must possess a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
