This position is responsible for managing the operations of City Wides building-maintenance solutions (janitorial and non-janitorial) it provides to clients in the medical field. The position will lead a team of Environmental Service Techs and manage effective relationships with all assigned clients. This position is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and client growth. Must achieve annual business objectives and budget expectations. The EVS Manager responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment while staying in compliance with environmental regulations. Requirements

  • Maintain the facility cleanliness; manage sanitation removal and the hospital's infection prevention initiatives.
  • Manage the daily operations of the environmental services department, including housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.
  • Manage, train and educate staff on proper cleaning procedures, including Terminal Cleaning in the OR and patient rooms.
  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures in accordance with AORN guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • HR duties- ensure hospital onboarding process are followed and completed for each new crew member and manage employee time cards on a daily basis.
  • Prepare budget and financial reports for the Environmental Service department.
  • Develop department policies and procedures regarding quality, safety and evaluate efficiencies.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative culture and work environment
  • Previous management experience in environmental services in a healthcare setting is preferred, including experience with Terminal Cleaning in the OR and patient rooms.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance and AORN guidelines.
