Covers: 300 - 500 weekday, 800 - 1,200 weekend and holidays

Job Title: Executive Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all culinary operations of the steakhouse, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Develop and execute innovative menu concepts that showcase the best of prime beef and incorporate seasonal ingredients.
  • Create and manage kitchen budgets, including food and labor costs, to maximize profitability while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Train and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of culinary excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to drive guest satisfaction and deliver an exceptional dining experience.
  • Establish relationships with local vendors and suppliers to source the highest quality ingredients while optimizing cost efficiencies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into the menu and kitchen operations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume, upscale steakhouse or fine dining establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of prime beef cuts, various cooking techniques, and steakhouse culinary traditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute innovative, seasonal menus that showcase the finest ingredients.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and developing a culinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Exceptional creativity, passion for culinary arts, and a relentless pursuit of perfection.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
