Funkitron, a leading name in the mobile games industry is looking for an experienced Art Director for a fashion mobile game. We need a highly creative individual who can not only set the visual tone and direction for the game but also inspire the team to create an immersive game experience. As the Art Director, you will be responsible for leading the art team, creating concept art, developing visual style guides, and working closely with designers and programmers to ensure art assets are incorporated seamlessly into the game. Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the visual direction for the fashion mobile game.
• Collaborate with game designers, developers, and artists to create an immersive experience that aligns with the overall creative vision.
• Manage and inspire the art team, providing artistic leadership, advice, and guidance.
• Create concept art, character designs, and environments that bring the game to life.
• Develop visual style guides for the game and ensure that all artists are adhering to them.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that art assets are integrated seamlessly into the game engine.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques and solutions into the art development process.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as an art director in the computer games industry.
• Casual free to play mobile game experience a huge plus.
• Knowledge of fashion and current trends a huge plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A deep understanding of the elements of game design, including composition, color theory, and art direction.
• An excellent portfolio showcasing your leadership skills and artwork, including character designs, environments, and concept art.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant art tools.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for games, including mobile games, and a strong desire to create the best experiences for players.
