About the role:

Were seeking an passionate and energetic Field Marketing Associate to organize Carbynes trade show and sales events. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to learn the ropes of marketing in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Youll be responsible for every aspect of events, from pre and post-event ordering, communication to POCs, event logistics, budget, purchasing, shipping, final graphic and brand production details, execution, and evaluating success afterward. Youll work to manage Carbynes attendees and support their onsite needs.

The right candidate will work closely with the VP of Marketing and VP of Sales to ensure accurate lead capture, and effective lead nurture and follow up within Hubspot and Salesforce. Our ideal candidate is well-organized, competent in vendor management, and has strong communications skills and attention to detail.


Heres what youll be working on:

  • Responsible for all aspects of events management including pre-planning, day of execution and post show analysis.
  • Produce detailed worksheets for each event outlining timelines, venue, suppliers, attendees, promotional items and budgets
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
  • Manage communications and promotional materials for all events
  • Do final check day of the event to ensure everything meets standards
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
  • Evaluate events success and submit reports to all involved parties
  • Managing the event budget and producing within budget
  • Lead capture process and analysis

Requirements

You might be a great fit if you have:

  • 1-2 years of experience as an events management
  • Marketing Degree
  • Experience leading a diversity of events, from small conferences to large trade shows
  • Proficient in MS excel
  • Excellent vendor management skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm under pressure
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Exceptional time, resource management, and organizational skills

Bonus points for:

  • Digital Event experience like Webinars and Online Conferences
  • Fluent in Spanish

The pay range for this position in New York City is $60K - $65K + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401K). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
