Valard Construction USA is a premier utility contractor based out of the US and part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications, and renewable energy. Valard Construction USA is a non-union US contractor.
Valard Construction is looking for a Foundation Grout Utility Person. The project is located in Rawlins, Wyoming.
Rotation/Shift: 20 days-on / 10 days-off
Travel is required.
Requirements
- Digging with shovels and clearing rock surface of debris
- Packing tools into trucks
- Loading and unloading materials from trailers
- Working around heavy equipment
- Working with hand power tools
- Take direction from crew lead on various tasks
- Work at ground level in open excavations or at heights around heavy operating equipment and machinery
- Load/unload construction materials both mechanically and by hand
- Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Assist heavy equipment operators
- Potential to working longer shifts may be required
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Some mechanical aptitude or farm hand experience required for groundman or utility worker positions
- Good physical coordination, manual dexterity, lift 50lbs
- Mechanical ability
- Ability to work at heights and in varying extreme climates
- Ability to travel and/or be on call
- Ability to work in a team
