Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of application engineers and data analysts to design, develop and test robotics applications, software and analyze data
• Develop and execute system design strategies that align with the companys business goals
• Plan, hire and train a team of applications engineers to align with the companys rapid growth
• Collaborate with other teams including product, supply chain and deploy to ensure the success of our robotics products
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in warehouse robotics and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Manage the application engineering budget and allocate resources effectively
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
• Be a leader and active member in sales pursuits as an experienced subject matter expert in the intralogistics field
• Proactively engage key technology partners to broaden the reach of the companys offering
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and laws
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the application engineering team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, design rigor and excellence within the application engineering team

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or related fields
• 10+ years of experience in application engineering, product development, data analysis or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, preferably in robotics or related fields
• Strong technical background in robotics and warehouse automation, including knowledge of Goods-To-Person robotics systems, conveyor control systems, warehouse control systems and warehouse management software
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and data analysts to deliver high-quality deliverables on time and within budget
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment
