Job Overview: As an Import-Export Specialist in the Textile Industry, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods between countries for textile products. You will be required to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and to optimize the efficiency of importing and exporting operations. You will also collaborate with suppliers, customers, and transportation companies to execute successful import and export transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage import and export operations for textile products, including logistics and documentation requirements
• Monitor changes in trade policies and regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Work with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers, vendors, and customers
• Coordinate transportation and customs clearance of goods, including filing required documentation and paying customs duties and taxes
• Build and maintain relationships with international partners, such as freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Prepare reports on import and export activities, including compliance with regulations, inventory levels, and shipment status
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs of import and export operations

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven work experience as an Import-Export Specialist in the textile industry or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of import and export regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management processes
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
