We are looking for a Line Quality Control to join our 2nd shift team. This role will report directly to the Quality Manager and be responsible for the following:

• Conduct line inspections and verify the control parameters according to procedures and instructions for production, filling, and packaging processes.
• Record results of the inspection, including weight, filling temperature, packaging material, product code, container closure, etc.
• Ensure Batch records are maintained appropriately.
• Participate in company wide ongoing continuous improvement efforts regarding operations processes (SOPs, SSOPs, BPRs, etc).
• Collaborate with QA Supervisor on edits to documentation.
• Perform GMP/hygiene inspection based on GMP and hygiene standards. Correct GMP/hygiene violation and report to production supervisor and/or QA Manager.
• All jobs shall be conducted timely according to QA/QC work instruction.

• Conduct daily sanitation inspections and verifying line-clearance, including pre-operation inspection and post-operation inspection.
• Perform ATP test and environmental swabbing.

• Observe and record nonconforming products/production and promptly record, and communicate with production supervisor and Quality Supervisor for immediate action.
• Make routine decisions regarding in-line product holds and ensure management is notified.
• Verify calibration of equipment used for inspections and report immediately if the device is malfunctioning.
• Main location: Heritage facility, however if needed must be comfortable working at different locations within the same area.
• Other assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food processing industries is preferred
• Basic math skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Competency in computer programs (Excel & Google Suite)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and organize multiple tasks
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
