A leading supplier of a full range of cab related products and systems for the global commercial vehicle market, including the medium-and heavy-duty truck market, the medium-and heavy-construction vehicle market, and the military, bus, agriculture, specialty transportation, mining, industrial equipment and off-road recreational markets.



Job Description

  • Maintain day-to-day coordination of production process activities
  • Develop and maintain multi-level Bill Of Materials (BOMs)
  • Actively searching, identifying, and completing cost out projects to exceed annual salary
  • Develop and maintain process instructions
  • Monitor and coordinate the corrective action activities related to internal and external defects
  • Responsible for quality improvements of current and new products
  • Support the quality department by working with, including visiting, supplier sites as needed
  • Design and project manage fixture fabrication and implementation
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
  • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5-7+ years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment (welding and sheet metal products preferred)
  • Excellent skills in disciplined problem-solving methodologies and techniques (8D preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (experience with Share point a plus)
  • Background in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • CATIA V5, Pro/E, AutoCAD, UG, or related CAD software experience preferred
  • CMM experience preferred
  • Project management & customer interaction experience preferred
