Location

Infleqtion has 6 office locations, operating out of Austin, TX; Boulder/Louisville, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; London, UK; and Melbourne, AU. This position is a full-time, in-office position which will be located in our Boulder, Colorado office.

Position Summary

The newly hired team member is responsible for working cross functionally as the master scheduler and planner for the organization. The role will need to balance demand with available resources to meet customer needs and project deadlines.

The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and manage master schedule (labor/production, facility capacity, parts need-by date, engineering time and support, supply chain)
  • Develop and manage detailed individual project schedules
  • Implementing and communicating scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes or material/labor shortages
  • Estimate resource requirements and validate lead times during quoting and at the time of booking
  • Identify bottlenecks and manage them appropriately to maximize output and resource balancing
  • Identify constraints and work with appropriate group or function to implement countermeasures.
  • Provide capacity planning and scheduling data to appropriate owners and work to resolve over/under loading situations
  • Interface with Purchasing to ensure incoming material meets production needs including prioritization of outside processing orders
  • Translate sales forecast to material plans for material forecasting, ROP adjustment and ordering

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in scheduling and planning in a custom engineering and shop environment
  • APICS CPIM certification preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with low-volume, high mix product line
  • Experience working in planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Excel, or equivalent systems.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems and their implementation is preferred
  • Experience working in a high-tech environment preferred
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize initiatives, and take ownership in resolving issues with urgency and vigor
  • Professional-level communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Self-motivated, energetic individuals with strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Passion for solving complex problems and challenges in a highly technical and scientific environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, team-oriented, and matrixed environment
  • Ability to travel domestically and (potentially) internationally up to 10%

    This role requires that you do not require sponsorship or a work visa transfer. This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Please note that any offer for employment may be conditioned on authorization to receive software or technology controlled under these U.S. export control laws and regulations without sponsorship for an export license.

Benefits

This position pays $70,000 to $100,000 per year
