About Us
With meat accounting for nearly 60% of all greenhouse gases from food production, its high time we changed the food we eat for ourselves, our planet, and our future.
At High Time Foods we believe plant-based food should reflect the multicultural world we live in and should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is simple: to empower chefs around the world with shelf-stable, affordable, nutritious, and cuisine-agnostic, plant-based meat alternatives.
Currently, we sell our plant-based meat alternative to restaurants, local chains and university cafeterias (foodservice) in the New England area. We are an immigrant owned business, have a diverse team from different backgrounds and cultures. We respect each other and love to learn from each other by asking questions. We put people and the planet first. Every day, we get our hands dirty and love doing so.
Last year we graduated from the Techstars Boston accelerator program and the MassChallenge accelerator program.
About the Role
We are looking for a current senior or graduate student who believes in our mission and is eager to learn and contribute to our growth.
Working at our startup means you will wear many hats. Your main responsibility will be coordinating our marketing efforts on the ground in Boston. These include creating and organizing promotional materials, maintaining our social media presence, being on the ground with the team at product launch events, working with influencers, writing content and maintaining our blog, drafting and sending out community newsletters and updating our website.
This role is for someone who wants to learn, is comfortable talking to strangers and wants to join a diverse team, which puts people, the planet, and peeps first.

Your personality
- You believe in our mission and share our passion for helping people and the planet.
- You do not shy away from talking to strangers to collect content.
- You have wacky ideas for our social media.
- You feel comfortable working with an international team and are curious to learn more about different cultures and cuisines.
- You learn quickly and are willing to integrate and share feedback.
- You are excited to take on projects that may not be your current area of expertise.
- You can problem-solve and innovate to bring new ideas to the team.
- You are willing to support your team members when needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- You are organized and can manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- You have strong writing and communication skills.
- You are experienced in using Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Slides, Sheets), Canva and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
- You are active on social media (Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn) and have managed accounts in the past.
- You are a current junior/senior college or graduate student with experience working in a business environment.
- You are a native English speaker or have achieved professional fluency.
Bonus points:
- You have a passion for food and the restaurant industry.
- You have experience working in a startup environment.
- You have gained experience in marketing.
- You are multilingual.

Compensation and Outlook
This is a paid internship, full-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time position. The position is an in-person role in Boston. You will get to sample all kinds of food!
