About the Position:

As one of our Media Directors, you will be responsible for developing and executing media strategies that align with clients' objectives and drive measurable results. The Media Director will work within a dedicated cross-functional team serving a specific book of clients. The Media Director will be a strategic partner to both internal and external clients. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills, as well as a deep understanding of the marketing landscapes. The salary range for this position is $85k$100k.

Your Impact:

  • Leadership: You'll lead and inspire your media team of 2-4 to develop and execute paid media strategy that drives results for our clients.
  • Media Strategy: Youll oversee the media planning process, including developing media strategies, selecting media channels, and creating media plans to effectively forecast models to predict the performance of media campaigns and ensure that campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration: You'll collaborate within your cross-functional team including account managers, media producers, and data analysts, to ensure creative strategies align with clients' business goals and objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Youll use data to define and track KPIs and success metrics, ensuring all aspects of tracking and reporting are executed flawlessly. You will continually refine KPIs and success metrics to improve campaign performance.
  • Strong Data Storyteller: Your curious, analytical approach extends to leverage data to tell a performance story to clients. This is supported by data visualization.
  • Client Management: You'll develop and present media strategies to clients, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions and their impact on performance. Youll be accountable for client media budgeting and team resource management.
  • Industry Knowledge: You'll maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. Youll be a contributor to our Media Center of Excellence to share your knowledge across the agency.

Requirements

  • Proven agency experience leading a media team in the development and execution of performance-driven paid media that achieves outstanding results for clients.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of developing high-performing media campaigns and strategies for clients across multiple channels.
  • Proven experience with design thinking and performance-driven creative approaches
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively convey ideas, collaborate effectively with team members and clients, and build strong relationships.
  • Data-driven, analytical approach to continuously evaluate effectiveness and optimizations to improve performance.
  • Experience in digital marketing channels such as paid search (GoogleAds/Bing), paid social (Meta/LinkedIn), and/or display advertising experience (GDN/DV360)
  • Proficiency in data tools: Excel, PowerBI (or a comparable visual BI platform), Web Analytics, Marketing Analytics
  • A passion for keeping up to date on industry trends and best practices, with the ability to share insights with both internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
