DGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is seeking a Microsoft Engineer, Sr. Engineer, or Architect with a specialized focus on Microsoft 365 technologies to join our highly competent team. This individual will work with clients, partners, engineers, and sales teams to help ensure clients are selecting, designing, implementing, and integrating modern technology solutions into their Enterprise and Mid-Market environments.

Additionally, this individual will help further develop and drive DGR Systems internal methodologies and approaches for how we deliver various services within this space. This position requires an individual that is highly motivated, has extensive IT consulting experience, an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technical solutions and how they are migrated and deployed. The ideal candidate is client-focused and has excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Provide consultative technical thought leadership for pre-sales activities including workshops, licensing analysis, technology roadmap development while advising clients to make informed decisions
• Continuous evaluation, development and deployment of migration methodologies and processes to refine/define approaches to existing and new work product offerings
• Deliver high quality work in both large-scale project environments and smaller, single staffed engagement models
• Manage escalation internally to ensure appropriate servicing of client needs

• Understand client requirements and business objectives
• Assess and communicate risks associated with technology-related investments and purchases.
• Design IT systems ensuring the right architecture and functionality
• Support new technology implementation
• Train technical staff on new and existing IT systems

• Produce detailed-level technology plans and documentation

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical hands-on experience in Microsoft solutions
• At least 2 years supporting Enterprise-level clients in large, diverse IT service environments
• Experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or Consultant preferred
• Proven experience as an IT Consultant and Technical Engineer/Architect preferred
• Experience with ShareGate migration tool
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, event driven system-oriented architecture, data formats such as JSON and XML, data normalization, contextualization, and qualification
• Experience creating customized solutions using .NET, CSOM, JSOM, JSLink, and REST APIs is preferred
• Enhanced or additional experience in any of the following areas (preferred but not required):
  • Migration to Office 365 workloads from non-Microsoft platforms
  • Cloud-based identity solutions (Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
  • Additional Migration tools: BitTitan, Mover.io, etc.
  • Security assessments and best practices
• Experience in project delivery methodologies at the Enterprise level
• An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
