Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with an area leading manufacturing company is seeking is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to join their dynamic team.


DIRECT HIRE

2nd shift - $60,000 - $65,000 salary; based on experience


The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team efficiently while adhering to quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee production staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and manufacturing protocols
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Enforce and maintain safety guidelines and procedures, addressing any concerns promptly
  • Lead and maintain a positive and productive team culture while mentoring and training staff effectively
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of orders and proactive input on scheduling and change management
  • Identify and address any production, quality, or staff issues promptly, developing and implementing solutions as needed
  • Manage inventory, including monitoring, tracking, and restocking

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience managing a team in a Manufacturing facility, or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members, fostering team work, and communicating effectively
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize pressing demands under tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of quality standards, inventory management, and lean manufacturing practices is a plus
