What is this job?

This is a full time, in person, union job with benefits. The person who fills this position will spend most of their time operating our T-shirt printing line, to fulfill large and small orders for customized t-shirts. You may also work on some of our other production manufacturing lines making other kinds of products.

You will need to be:

• A reliable worker who shows up and delivers, day after day.
• Able to spend an 8 hour shift, five days a week, on your feet and in motion.
• Able to lift 55 pounds, retrieve stock from a ladder, stay focused throughout a production run.
• Careful about details, paying close attention so every tee looks great.
• Able to take direction, listen to instructions, take part in individual and shared problem solving.
• A good learner, able to adjust as our company grows, adds new equipment, and evolves new processes and tasks.
• A team player who can sometimes work on tasks outside your usual range of activities
• Able to take on overtime hours when needed.
• Extra points if youre mechanically inclined and can fix some equipment problems yourself.

Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing operations is a plus but not a requirement.
• Experience making or crafting things as a hobby is also a plus.
• On the job training will be provided.
• You must be legally able to work in the United States
• You must be at least 18 years of age
