Job Title Sr. Proposal Manager

Skills:

• Experience in managing Federal Proposals
• Experience with business process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in building business relationships with current and potential clients
• Experience in understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Lead multiple proposal teams ensuring consistent processes are applied to deliver high quality compliant proposals.
• Working knowledge of Shipley proposal processes.
• Be able to oversee the development of multiple simultaneous proposals on different timelines; advise leaders on resource constraints and prioritization of efforts.
• Work with Capture Managers and Operations leaders to compose effective proposal teams of volume leads, writers, proposal coordinators, editors, and reviewers.
• Evaluate and maintain relationships with external proposal resources to be ready to handle surges in proposal activity.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that create visibility of status/progress on all proposal efforts.
• Track proposal wins/losses and lead lessons-learned exercises to identify opportunities for process improvement and training.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are ready for all proposal production and delivery.
• Experience in creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
• Experience in reviewing client RFP and Statement of Work (SOW) to help determine how to structure the response to be compliant, compelling, and highly rated by the client
• Experience in reviewing solicitations for technical requirements and ensure that those requirements are met.
