Job Title : Opto Mechanical Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: Full Time
Sr Level mechanical engineer (10+ years' experience)
Education: Master's in Mechanical Engineering and preferred PHD
Free space optics (lens, optical waveguides, beam splitter)
MEM display (desirable)Strong knowledge of both the ISO10110 and ASME Y14.5 standards.
Design for manufacturing process knowledge such as milling, turning, injection molding, casting, diamond turning, lens grinding and polishing, and lithographic fabrication.
Solid works mechanical CAD experience preferred, strong drawing creation skills.
Familiarity with optical and mechanical inspection equipment and inspection plan creation.
Familiarity with 3D rendering programs such as Solidworks Visualize, Keyshot, or others.
Photonics Lasers experience highly desirable.
Zemax knowledge highly desirable
