THE ROLE

The Lifecycle Retention Marketing Director role will own developing the customer growth strategy and product marketing functions using email, SMS, and push notification channels. Your main goal will be to increase our customers engagement, retention and ROI throughout their journey with Tapcheck. In this role, you will build and execute strategies, iterate, and build reports to track KPIs. This is a highly visible role with direct interaction to the executive team.

Requirements

  • You are an entrepreneur embodied and a lifecycle marketing ninja
  • Expert in Braze, or a similar growth marketing platform
  • You are a true builder that can roll up their sleeves to get the job done, and an emotionally intelligent leader that inspires each member of their team to exceed their own expectations for themselves
  • Become an expert in our various customer journeys (B2B, B2B2C, B2C, B2P), and create unique and meaningful customer lifecycle experiences and strategies to meet and convert our key stakeholder(s) wherever they might be in the funnel at any given point in time
  • Oversee, optimize, and scale our lifecycle marketing and product marketing strategy to generate a robust series of user acquisition and retention campaigns
  • Create definable and trackable KPIs, accountable goals against campaigns and strategies, and be able to communicate so-whats to leadership
  • Work with BI to establish data reporting requirements for the organization that ensure clear answers to marketing and business questions, and with key decision points designed for quick iteration, testing, and execution
  • Partner with product, marketing, and analytics peers to define key objectives and develop and continually optimize customer segmentation and the corresponding marketing strategy
  • Use insights to define, document, and optimize customer acquisition engine
  • A hackers mentality. You obsess over finding novel ways to efficiently scale every programeven when conventional wisdom says youre wrong
  • Constantly innovate and push the envelope, moving beyond typical B2C marketing playbooks to unlock scale and ROI
  • Partner cross-functionally to implement new marketing programs, keep stakeholders informed, and ensure ongoing efficiency (internal company emails, departmental newsletters, client email alerts, audience newsletters, case studies, gated content for the website.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of direct lifecycle marketing / growth marketing experience
  • A growth mindset and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Deep comfort level working in a cross-functional role with a highly distributed team
  • Analytical mindset with ability to track and report on leading campaign performance metrics as well as lagging revenue attribution, revenue influence and ROI
  • Experience with Braze (or similar growth marketing platform)
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation systems
  • Experience with Google Analytics, and additional Martech tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Highly organized, great attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Self-starter, self-motivated and a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
