This position is located at the River Loadout in Moundsville, WV. We are seeking hard working, motivated individuals. If you are interested in pursuing a career with great potential, we want you!

This position is responsible for all daily operations of barges and vessels.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to all company policies and United States Coast Guard regulations
• Building/Delivering Tow guiding vessel and securing rigging
• Checking Fleet for Water /Inspect Rigging
• Cleaning vessel
• General maintenance and repairs as necessary
• Communicate effectively
• Use/knowledge of hand tools
• Work well in a team environment
• Operate machinery

Experience

• Must possess Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC card)

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Effective communication is required
• Work Safely
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), required
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
• Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship

JOB SCHEDULE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicants religious practices)
• Must be able to work 6 days a week and overtime as needed; (subject to the applicants religious practices)
• Ability/willingness to work any shift assigned
• Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead
• Ability to push/pull as needed
• Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead
• Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
