The Role

We are looking for a Vice President (VP), Paid Media, also known as Media Director (MD), to join our best-in-class Digital Health team within BCW's reputable national Healthcare practice.

You will be responsible for leading client paid social media programs towards stated client and company objectives as well as for the growth, management, retention, and satisfaction of these accounts. You will also be accountable to partner with clients to address measured media landscape and work with client stakeholders across multiple digital disciplines to propose and defend media spend across all performance-based marketing channels.

The Work:

  • Be the primary strategic partner for assigned Healthcare clients related to social media marketing
  • Develop a deep understanding of the clients brands and disease states and determine how social media can provide a benefit to their audiences
  • Develop paid social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and Twitter among others
  • Develop relationships with important partners at all relevant social media platform partners
  • Explain the details and rationalize recommendations to our client
  • Work with the client services team to manage client relationship as related to paid social strategy, team and performance
  • Establish new projects, grow client revenue
  • Collaborate with other channel teams to ensure consistency across campaigns
  • Contribute to new business development

Qualifications and experience that contributes to your success

8-10+ years of experience in paid social, media, or marketing agency

Healthcare knowledge and industry background and interest a must; pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred

  • Paid media expertise in an agency setting
  • Advanced experience in planning across all channels in order to act as a technical expert for team members
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms including Meta and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and testing methodology preferred
  • Multichannel experience (search/social/display/programmatic) preferred
  • High competency level in MS Office with specific experience and strengths in Excel and PowerPoint to create and manage spreadsheets, word processing, presentation graphics, communications, e-mail, internet, and filing archiving software
  • Experience growing teams/businesses a plus
  • Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
