Role - Manufacturing Engineer/ Industrial Engineer

This role is for a Manufacturing Engineering role
Should have worked in the shop floor and experience with creating/experience with Standard works
Will also be involved in automation projects coordination
Would be good to have experience with Creo and AutoCAD as he will be involved in plant layout updates etc.
Tool / Fixture design experience would be of added advantage.
Will be spending most of the time in coordination with offshore team as well.
Assist in providing assembly planning support for Reman Transmission products
Update standard work and visual work instructions as needed following established standard and guidelines
Carry out continuous improvement projects to assist with better through put and quality for product lines being manufactured including Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
Responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation by providing tooling, processes, equipment, etc. to provide for the needs of the shop operations.
Ensures optimum utilization of equipment and space by coordinating the layout of areas such as storage areas, test equipment, etc. to accommodate the changing production requirements, hands on experience with AutoCAD.
Establishes standards and works with shop personnel to resolve problems related to process, tooling, equipment, etc.
Coordinate's cost reduction projects which include tool design, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout design, standards, releasing, etc.
Coordinate's capital projects for process enhancement and to improve customer satisfaction, conducting research and ensuring proper approvals.
