Job Title: CRM Business Analyst

Job Location: Remote target Houston and Cary, Texas first. Open to candidates on EST and CST

Customer Technology Background:

Customer Technology is an enterprise team leading CRM, web, eCommerce, customer portal, and related data strategies. The Customer Technology team shares best practices and owns the technology stack supporting customer facing teams across multiple business units.

Purpose:

The CRM Business Analyst will serve as the project lead for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Working closely with business partners and other team members, the position will be responsible for successful delivery of CRM projects. Potential projects include bringing business units into the platform (implementation), integrating applications with CRM, and process improvements leveraging CRM.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working in a matrixed environment, lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical resources. Own providing guidance to stakeholders as well as recommending best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation of business processes and requirements.
  • Create user stories and testing scenarios for application enhancements prior to production rollout in a hybrid Agile-SDLC environment.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to participate in development, implementation, and maintenance of multiple Microsoft CRM environments.
  • Oversee (or perform) changes to solution fields, forms, and processes using out-of-the-box toolsets for entity configuration, workflows, dialogs, and templates.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with sales, marketing and/or service teams and knowledge of their respective daily responsibilities and overall business objectives.

  • Bachelor's Degree majoring in MIS, CS, BIS, CIS or equivalent working experience.
  • Master's degree in Business or Computer Science a plus.
  • 5+ years of business analyst experience working with enterprise applications.
  • Ability to translate requests from non-technical business users into technical requirements.
  • Experience troubleshooting and interpreting complex technology problems and ability to resolve.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is desired. Salesforce experience is fine also, as long as candidate is willing to learn MS Dynamics.
  • Interpersonal skills - listens to and understands others, works well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, ability to prioritize work activities and use time effectively.
