Job Summary
3V Sigma USA is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual for the position of Manager, Applications Lab whose primary focus will supporting the Commercial Team through technical service, material testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with Polyethylene and Polypropylene with a strong understanding of formulating durable products with HALS, UV Absorbers and antioxidants.
Requirements
Coordinate with the commercial team to set priorities and determine testing protocols and requirements.
Manage and direct the Applications Lab Chemist
Maintain the Technical Support Request (TSR) records
Provide Technical Reports and summaries for lab records
Create Presentations for different Markets
Develop laboratory data and trials to support the needs of the 3V SIGMA USA commercial team
and customers.
Use of equipment of the applicative laboratory.
Maintain and update the equipment used (WOM, QUV, Instron, DSC, ovens, etc).
Develop comparative data with competitor products.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelors Degree Chemistry, Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience with PP, PE in a lab setting
Experience analyzing, interpreting and presenting data and effectively communicating at all levels of organization
Experience developing and documenting processes and driving adherence to process
