Mobile and Web UI Developer (Adobe, Figma) (Remote, Des Moines, IA) We are currently looking for a UI Developer for our client, a State of Iowa entity. The focus of the role is to bring expertise in interaction, user interface, and visual design (including illustration) to their collaborative UX environment and by working with UI/UX lead to create polished, well-documented visual experiences and to create different UI components and UI designs for mobile and web. This contract position is long-term with current funding approved until 6/30/2023 and funding for this position will renew on 7/1/2023 through 6/30/2024. Further extensions likely, and funding approved every 12 months. 40 hours per week role. This is a remote role which requires onsite visits to our client's office in Des Moines, IA. The preferred candidates must reside locally in/around Des Moines, IA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. -
Creating the core experiences and building blocks that make up the platform-wide user experience and are the stewards for the development of shared standards and components that includes design system, dashboards and reporting, graph visualization and case management, global navigation, and UI extensibility. -
Approach design with an expert grasp on best practices, accessibility, and design heuristics, and be able to clearly articulate design decisions. -
Design UI prototypes by listening to product owners and BA's on the side and design screens using Html, CSS, Bootstrap and Angular. -
Establish and adhere to product style guides and user experience. -
Create icons and Illustration necessary to convey the message clearly. -
Participates in design sessions with other designers and team to develop new product concepts or design improvements. -
Collaborate with UX designers to create meaningful UX artifacts for communication and user feedback, like storyboards and interactive prototypes. |
