Role: OSI Monarch Engineer
Location: Newark NJ ( Remote need to go onsite once a week)

Responsibilities:
Work with Business Stakeholders to understand Business Strategy and gather business requirements. Participate in design workshops, assessments, and troubleshooting sessions related to Distributed Energy Resources Management System (DERMS) and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) and integrations to them. Develop understanding of the applications supporting the Distributed Energy Resources domain and assess how solutions align within the broader enterprise architecture. Design, implement and maintain test plan and test cases to evaluate and verify the functional integrity of SCADA and DMS/OMS, P2P, DERMS, GIS applications in OSI Monarch. Test OMS, DERMS, SCADA and GIS applications before and after upgrade and compared the results. Validate Status Points, Analog Points in OSI Monarch. Support integration of DERMS into the distribution Control Centre equipment and processes for effective DER operation. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled operations Provide project support for ADMS/DERMS upgrades and software additions including specification and proposal reviews, vendor negotiations and system testing
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working on OSI Monarch
- Experience with Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS) or Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) is a plus
- Experience deploying hardware and software integrations in utility applications such as SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS
- Design, implement and maintain test plan and test cases to evaluate and verify the functional integrity of SCADA and DMS/OMS, P2P, DERMS, GIS applications in OSI Monarch.
- Test OMS, DERMS, SCADA and GIS applications before and after upgrade and compared the results.
- Validate Status Points, Analog Points in OSI Monarch.
- Excellent interpersonal, written skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of IT, other vendors and business management
- Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and within cross functional project teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient with MS office to prepare presentations
