Description: Title: Inventory Clerk I (backfill for contingent worker ) Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Shift: 1st shift Schedule: Monday thru Friday but must be able to work overtime Pay Rate: $18.00 an hour Interview Info: Interview Type: Live Interview Length: 30 minutes Interview Time: Check Hiring Manager schedule and attempt to schedule in AM This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts and audits, maintaining inventory accuracy by performing bin checks, assisting in investigation and reconciling inventory discrepancies to provide a reliable inventory balance. Responsibilities: Reconcile inventory discrepancies in the ERP system. Investigate variances by working closely with multiple users and analyzing inventory movements in the system Create weekly reports to business and senior managements Consistently follow all warehouse procedures. Support production escalations for inventory variances Support shipping activities in month ends and quarter ends, overtime may be expected Requirements: Relevant education and/or work experience required (i.e., receiving, warehousing, and inventory). Strong attention to detail skills. Strong critical thinking skills. Team player, positive attitude. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. ERP or inventory systems experience, SAP is an asset. Microsoft Excel (vlookup, match, pivot tables) and PowerPoint Must wear STEEL Toed Shoes Physical Requirements: Must always wear CSA approved steel toe footwear when working in the designated receiving and shipping locations. Must be comfortable performing physical work. Forklift certified (an asset) Schedule Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Overtime is expected for month-ends, quarter-ends, and year-ends. If Temp to hire Pay rate: $18.00 an hour Assignment duration: 6 months Onsite How long will your train the resource before they are expected to work independently: Two weeks Interviews Information (How many interviews, type of interviews): One Interview, onsite or virtual. Reason for new request: Increase in work load What Top skills/software and previous are most important to you? Prior counting experience, self disciplined, honest, excel, computer literacy. Intake call: hourly rate is the same as before $18 Would like it if this person knew how to operate a sit down forklift. Does not have to be certified Looking for someone that has established work history and consistency.
