We are looking for a Commissions Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of commission structures and be able to accurately calculate and manage commission payments for our sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate commission data provided by sales team members
- Calculate commission payments based on sales performance and commission structures
- Ensure commission payments are accurately recorded in the accounting system
- Reconcile commission payments with payroll and accounts payable
- Work closely with the sales team to resolve commission-related issues
- Prepare monthly commission reports for management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in commission accounting
- Understanding of commission structures and calculations
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
