Job Summary

Bloomfire is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager focused on Paid Media to join our dynamic team. We are a growth-focused Knowledge Management SaaS (Software as a Service) company, with applications in customer service, content management, insights & research, and general knowledge management.

As our Marketing Manager, Paid Media, you will report to our Revenue Marketing Leader to execute effective paid media strategies.that drive qualified leads, conversions and opportunities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute effective strategies across paid media channels including Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, ratings and review sites, etc.that drive qualified leads, conversions and opportunities for the Sales team.
  • Daily Management: Day to day management of spend, audience targeting, bidding strategies, dayparting, execution, measurement and optimizations for all paid media channels. Includes root cause analysis when problems arise.
  • KPIs: Be aware of and track KPIs to ensure continuous performance optimization and improvement.
  • A/B Testing: Manage ongoing test and learn initiatives to further knowledge of what works and what doesnt, with the goal of continuous performance optimization and improvement.
  • Reporting: Report on results. Ability to articulate strategies implemented, results achieved, areas of improvement. Capable of assessing trends over time and identifying emerging shifts in performance.
  • Budget Management: Ensure budgets are not exceeded, identify when budget limits are at risk for the month and recommend consequent actions.
  • Competitive Digital Strategy analysis: Maintain awareness of competitor bidding positions and develop counter-plans that allow us to achieve our goals.

Requirements

  • Not entry level, but not expert level: You have 3-5 years of experience managing paid media budgets of $1M annual. You are well-versed in paid media strategies and stay updated on best practices, technological and algorithmic impact.
  • Curious: You know what you dont know, you like to learn and possess a tinkering mindset with a desire to continuously optimize and improve. Should be data-oriented and able to analyze and interpret data, distinguishing between actionable and nice-to-know data.
  • Familiar with B2B SaaS: Should have a background in B2B SaaS, understanding the channels and levers to pull to engage B2B audiences. You understand the importance of conversion optimization through the funnel (demos, opportunities) and not just clicks.
  • Results driven: Able to work in a fast-paced environment where progress is valued over perfection.
  • Team Player: You understand that we win when sales gets the quality leads they need to drive revenue growth.

Location:

Reporting to Senior Director of Revenue Marketing. Bloomfire is headquartered in Austin, Texas but uses a distributed workforce across the US. There is preference to have the content manager role reside in Cleveland, Ohio with a hybrid work schedule. Fully remote roles will be considered for exceptional candidates, preferably in the Eastern or Central time zones. Some travel quarterly to our headquarters and/or other business meetings may be required.
