Job Summary

Bloomfire is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Content Manager to join our dynamic team. We are a growth-focused Knowledge Management SaaS (Software as a Service) company, with applications in customer service, content management, insights & research, and general knowledge management.

As our Marketing Content Manager, you will report to the CMO and lead development and execution of effective content strategies to drive brand awareness, engage target audiences, and support lead generation efforts. Your role will involve creating and managing compelling marketing content across various platforms and channels to effectively communicate our product value proposition and drive customer acquisition and retention.

Core Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing goals and target audience across multiple media platforms.
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging, and persuasive content across various mediums, such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, podcasts, infographics, webinars, and other marketing collateral.
  • Content Management: Oversee the organization, editing, and maintenance of all marketing content assets across different media platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engine visibility by conducting keyword research, incorporating SEO best practices, and utilizing relevant tools and techniques across different media formats.
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with demand generation and sales teams to develop content that drives lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition across multi-media channels.
  • Audience Engagement: Develop content strategies to engage and nurture target audiences throughout the buyer's journey using various media formats, including thought leadership pieces, educational resources, customer success stories, videos, podcasts, and more.
  • Content Distribution: Plan and execute multi-channel content distribution strategies to maximize content reach and engagement, including social media, email marketing, content syndication, podcast platforms, video hosting platforms, and other emerging new media channels.
  • Data Analytics Driven: Working with our reporting team, track and analyze the performance of marketing content across different media formats using appropriate metrics and tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Brand Voice and Messaging: Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all marketing content in different media formats, ensuring alignment with the company's values, vision, and target audience.
  • Stay Current: Stay up to date with industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies across various media platforms to continuously improve content

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience are a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Content Manager or a similar role in a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of creating content across diverse media platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling content across various media formats that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness.
  • Proficiency in SEO optimization techniques and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and multimedia editing tools.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, email marketing, social media management, podcasting platforms, video editing software, and other relevant multimedia tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas that align with marketing objectives across multiple media platforms.
  • Team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Location

Bloomfire is headquartered in Austin, Texas but uses a distributed workforce across the US. There is preference to have the content manager role reside in Cleveland, Ohio with a hybrid work schedule. Fully remote roles will be considered for exceptional candidates, preferably in the Eastern or Central time zones. Some travel quarterly to our headquarters and/or other business meetings may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Role is US-based and candidates must reside in the US.
