This stable, established, growing, food equipment manufacturer is looking to hire a full time, permanent Director of Foodservice R&D and FDA Quality Compliance. The company has been around over 50 years but is planning on tripling sales in the next five years creating many growth opportunities for employees.
The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Heading up food research of development
- Overseeing foodservice product supply and distribution
- Overseeing food quality
- Making pricing decisions
- Participating in FDA inspections
- Ensuring FDA regulatory compliance
- Growing the team
- Traveling to trade shows is 20% of this position
- Presenting products at trade shows
- Functioning as the face of the company
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:
- Three or more years of food or foodservice product development experience
- A food or science based bachelors degree or two additional years of food or foodservice product manufacturing experience
- Four years of employee management experience
- Possess the ability to traveling 20% of the time to trade shows
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
