Job Title: Production Mechanical Assembler / Assembler I


Department: Production
Reports to: Production Assembly Supervisor for WatchGuard
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday thru Friday / must be available to work OT on Saturdays
Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Interview: 30 min on site interview

100% onsite position
Temp to hire position

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic assembly is preferred but with the urgent need he is willing to look at candidates with less experience

Position Scope and Summary
The Production Mechanical Assembler will be working in an Electronic Manufacturing environment assembling WatchGuard Video's In-car and body worn camera systems and related peripherals. The work will be performed from oral and written instructions including mechanical drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams. Tools used will be calibrated torque drivers and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical assembly and disassembly of video recording systems, including, but not limited to DVRs, Cameras, Displays, Body Worn Cameras, Microphones in an ESD environment. Visual inspection of product to root out material defects on parts before finished product is moved to test.

Minimum Requirements
Strong Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in Mechanical assembly processes, preferably in electronics assembly. (2-5 years minimum)
Ability to work with multiple hand and Power/Battery operated tools.
Able to read and work from mechanical drawings and work instructions. (Instructions are in English)
Learn multiple processes, cross-trainable to support multiple product lines.
Ability to work with limited supervision, self-motivated & results orientated.
Well organized, with attention to detail.
Ability to work and support production requirements and meet deadlines.
Ensure high quality work is performed with repeatability and reliability.
Able to perform within a team and adapt to a diverse cultural work group.
Good moral character and able to fit into the company culture.
Excellent communication skills

Experience Requirements:
2 years of work-related experience in the electronics industry or related field.
Experience of working in a team orientated manufacturing environment.
Knowledgeable and capable of working in an ESD environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are expected.
Solder Experience a plus.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
