We are looking for a .NET Solution Architect to join our client in a consulting capacity based out of Houston TX. As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable solutions for our Midstream Oil & Gas clients. You will be accountable for understanding complex requirements and translating them into robust technical designs. You will be collaborating with and presenting designs to other architects and business stakeholders. Your primary focus will be to help form the development team and then lead the development of a new application that integrates with an existing system while ensuring adherence to the client's standards and best practices.

YOU WILL

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business objectives.

Work closely with other architects to design scalable and robust applications for the Midstream Oil & Gas industry.

Develop architectural designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Perform system analysis, evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations for technology and architecture selection.

Ensure seamless integration between new and existing applications while maintaining data integrity and security.

Conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to SOLID principles and coding standards.

Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and manage expectations.

Size the effort and resources required for the project and develop staffing plans accordingly.

Build relationships with key business stakeholders

Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

YOU HAVE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

10+ years of proven experience as a Solution Architect/Technical Project Manager

Strong knowledge of distributed systems, web application development, and interface design.

Proficiency in designing scalable and robust architectures.

Familiarity with SOLID principles and other software design patterns.

Experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures.

Experience with React for front-end development.

Proficiency in .NET C# for back-end development.

Experience in API design and development.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical effectively and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Knowledge of the Midstream Oil & Gas industry, its processes, and technology solutions is highly desirable.

Proficiency in managing application backlog using tools like ADO TFS or Jira.

Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.

Experience in Oil & Gas is highly desirable
