Site Reliability Engineer (Hybrid Fort Collins, CO)
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer for a global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will design, build and manage the infrastructure and technology powering our cloud service platform. The SRE will be responsible for building and operating all aspects of our cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on automation and tool development. This is a high impact role in a fast-paced org that is experiencing massive client growth and runs on the most cutting-edge AWS/GCP/Azure cloud-based infrastructure.
This is a 9-month (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role. This is a Hybrid role in Fort Collins, CO.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Think through hard problems in a production environment and drive solutions to reality.
- Work in a dynamic & collaborative environment.
- Build automated solutions using the latest Cloud technologies and tools.
- Engage often with customers, partners, and product teams.
- Participate in development projects.
- Production Engineering Support.
- Public Cloud cost optimization and tool selection.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in Software Design, Development and Production Operations.
- 5+ Experience managing Cloud or Datacenter Systems.
- 5+ years working in Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred).
- 3+ years building tools with at least one of the programming languages (Python, GO).
- 3+ years of experience architecting and administering Databases (Postgres, MySQL).
- 3+ years of experience with system automation and deployment tools (Jenkins, Ansible).
- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and vendor provided tools is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring tools (NewRelic, Prometheus) is preferred.
- Experience with performance tuning and benchmarking for Cloud Systems is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in complex network setups is preferred.
