Opportunity for Senior Oracle Database Consultant/DBA with AWS
Plano, TX (Onsite - Hybrid )

Mandatory skills:
Oracle DBA experience - Min 8 Yrs
Currently working as an Oracle DBA
Experience in managing Oracle DataGuard
Experience in managing Oracle Golden Gate
Oracle Performance Tuning (OS, DB parameters & SQL Query)
Oracle Patching
Backup and DB Space Management
Working with Oracle Vendor
Added Advantages:
Managing Oracle DB on AWS EC2 servers
PL/SQL experience
Data Modeling
CICD pipeline automation
AWS Postgres/Aurora
AWS S3 service
DB migration experience
Oracle & AWS Certifications
Nice to have:
10% python willing be reviewing code
Location (onsite/hybrid or remote):
Plano, TX - 3 days in the office T,W,TH
On call once a week in a month not a lot of incidents that happen and acknowledge the page
o Need to be flexible to work off hour support, if they have to work nights then they adjust work schedule for the next day or that week.
Resume Review Availability: Will review resumes daily if they come in, give candidate availability on resume.
He typically does 12-1 CST times for interviews.
Interview Availability: any day except next Wednesday 12-1 CST
How does manager measure success:
Within 10 days proactivity following up on access request
Familiar with Cap One and project within end of 2nd week
3rd week making an effort in the environment
4th week help out customer and application teams
Sizzle points:
Not operating in the data center, everything is in the cloud
Not a bank, software company exposure and automation op to work in the cloud
