POSITION SUMMARY

The Director Direct Commercial Sales International will establish and lead our Direct Commercial Sales to International customers. The position will develop the Noble value proposition and 5-year strategy to meet the capability requirements of approved foreign governments in their military, emergency services and other government departments. Through leveraging existing relationships and infrastructure globally the position will establish a diversified capture pipeline and manage the mix of near- and long-term opportunities to feed the business units actionable opportunities that meet the deal flow needs of this expanding business.

This is an opportunity to define the concept, strategy, and culture of the division, hiring, mentoring, and leading as part of a small team.

The position will succeed through a clear vision for the future of the business, coupled with demonstrable practical examples of meeting and exceeding sales targets within the international aerospace and defense sector.

The position will report to the Vice President International and involves travel, as needed, and will entail complex problem solving and kinetic leadership within the organization across different teams both direct and indirect reports.

The successful candidate will grow partnerships that span the industry to enable the strategic vision and accelerate both the international business unit and the wider company into the future.

- Establish and lead DCS BD & capture team.
- Leverage their experience and deep knowledge of Capability / Force Development cycle processes across target continents.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on business unit objectives and targets.
- Designs, implements, and manages sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Ensures sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales teams. Develops new reporting tools as needed. Coordinates with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate sales force reporting initiatives.
- Develop and implement plans and objectives for the department in an effective and innovative fashion
- Manage the DCS sales pipeline, focusing on increased win probability.
- Maintain compliance with external regulations and internal policies
- Assess and report progress in meeting department objectives
- See to department staffing needs (e.g. interviewing, hiring, new hire and ongoing training, annual evaluations, etc.)
- Participate in budget development and monitoring of expenses
- Oversee events and conferences as needed
- Generate necessary reports for the executive team; read subordinates reports
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of business and company initiatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Requires a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited four-year college or university; and eight to ten years of business-related progressive experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of training and relevant business experience.
- Requires a minimum of 10 years senior business leadership experience, ideally in a Sales or Business Development role focused on overseas customers.
- Requires a strong knowledge of ITAR, DFARs FARs, OFEC and other export restrictions,
