We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team to scope and estimate small capital projects in our refinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of small-scale refinery projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project scopes and estimates for small capital projects in the refinery.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, and ensure all projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to other departments and personnel as needed.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or risks, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Prepare project reports and presentations, and provide regular updates to management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering in the refining industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge of refinery processes and equipment.
• Experience in scoping and estimating small capital projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles and tools, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
