Required Consultant must demonstrate: (Minimum): 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 2. Demonstrated effective writing and documentation skills. 3. Attention to detail and consistency. 12. Knowledge and skill in hardware and software problem detection, isolation, and resolution. 13. Knowledge and experience in supporting Oracle WebLogic. 14. Proficiency with the knowledge and experience with JBoss. 15. Proficiency with the knowledge and use of other enterprise web environments and tools. 16. Proficiency with the knowledge and use of software monitoring and trace facilities. Preferred Consultant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 17. 8 years' experience. 18. Expert Expert experience with Solaris Operating System Administration; to include Zones, UFS, and ZFS. 19. Expert experience with Linux Operating System Administration, both OEL and Red Hat. 20. Strong experience administering Volume Managers and Backup/Recovery software. 21. Strong working knowledge of Exadata, Oracle Database Appliances, Oracle Private Cloud Appliances and Oracle Cloud-at-Customer systems. 22. Solaris/Linux shell scripting((link removed) .sh, (link removed)) experience. 23. Networker and bare-metal system recovery experience. 24. Strong experience in patching, maintaining Linux Repos, system security, networking, logging, Linux firewall administration, and firewall procedures. 25. Ability and willingness to mentor junior and journeymen UNIX administrators 26. Experience administering virtual environments to include VMware and OVM based virtual machines. 27. Knowledge of multiple operating systems, including Solaris and Linux (Centos, Red Hat and OEL). 28. Experience installing and configuring operating systems and application software.
