Job Title: Assembler II


Shift: 2nd shift
Pay Rate: $16.50 an hour
Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Schedule: Monday thru Friday but need to be flexible to worker weekends

Interview Schedule: look at Hiring Manager calendar but attempt to get in mornings

Looking for workers that are eager to work, can follow instruction and can working with small screws, components and wires daily.

Position Scope and Summary

The Assembler will be working in an Electronic Manufacturing environment assembling Avigilon's camera systems and related peripherals. The work will be performed from oral and written instructions including mechanical drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams. Tools used will be calibrated torque drivers and hand tools.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Assembly:
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures to manually build various level 2 products
Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies (bases and covers)
Preparing and packaging various accessories and documentation
Verification of work order BOMs and components
Programming and serialization of assembled products
Perform initial quality testing of completed products
Plug in and remove cameras from burn in stations
Programming of PCBAs

Final Test:
Calibration of all cameras according to outlined procedure
Final functional testing of all products
Cosmetic quality check of all products to ensure quality standards are compliant
Complete documents as required

Cleanroom:
Assemble front ends of cameras
Clean lenses and sensors with a high level of precision, according to outlined specifications
Calibrating and free focusing lenses
Identify defective lenses and sensors and report to Team Lead

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent manual dexterity
Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision
Ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety
Following direction while working with a team and maintaining a positive and respectful workplace
Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving
Ability to read, write and speak English

Working Conditions (ie. lifting, standing for long periods)
Plant Environment



Education Requirements are currently waived for contract position but please advise the candidate that a High school diploma or GED is required if client decide to convert them over to a FTE

Interview: 30 min onsite after 4pm CST No later 7PM CST- - will have go thru the COVID onsite screening to enter the building and must wear a mask

The pay rate $ 16.50

The typical schedule for 2nd shift is: Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM- will be working mandatory OT to get the customer product out.
