We are seeking a committed and passionate After School Program Coordinator to design a program that includes academic, enrichment and physical activities for 3 Richmond elementary schools: Michelle Obama, King Elementary and Harding Elementary

Benefits:

  • Pay rate: $26 an hour
  • 37.5 hours a week (Typical work hours are from 11:00 am - 6:30 pm)

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years experience in a K-12 setting or other youth lead program
  • 1 year experience as a supervisor and proven ability to lead a team
  • Bachelors degree or 2 years college (minimal 48 college units) with 2 years related experience
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse district/school staff, students, parents, and community members
  • Available Monday through Friday 11:00 am - 6:30 pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation, supervision, and safety of the program at the school site
  • Meeting agency and district recording requirements: attendance, payroll, and compliance
  • Create, plan, and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for students
  • Promote a safe and positive emotional climate in the classroom, the campus, and your team
  • Coaching and mentoring of staff

Above is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including experience/education, skill set, and geographic location.
