Eminence Home Care CT, a leading provider of healthcare services in the Hospital & Health Care industry, is seeking a Medicare Office Coordinator to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the day-to-day activities of our Medicare office to ensure the timely processing of claims and the provision of high-quality care to our patients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our patients and their families.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of our Medicare office, ensuring that all claims are submitted and processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Medicare providers to ensure that patients receive the care they need and that services are billed appropriately.
  • Manage the Medicare billing process, including the submission of electronic claims, appeals, and denials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Medicare payers, ensuring that Eminence Home Care NH meets all contractual obligations.
  • Ensure that all billing policies and procedures are followed, and that all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Train and supervise Medicare office staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. (preferred not required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Medicare office or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and billing systems is preferred.
