IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • This role is based in Boston and you will be working on-site on Wednesdays and Thursdays when you are not traveling to visit our accounts. You will occasionally visit our workplace in Hudson, New Hampshire.

YOUR OBJECTIVE

You will lead, manage, and grow the Wholesale business in a brand-enhancing manner. You will have full P&L responsibility for the Wholesale business unit.

Requirements

YOUR JOB

You will lead a large team encompassing Sales, Sales Operations, Merchandising, and Life is Good Shops.

  • Sales: Lead a team of 19 independent and in-house sales representatives. Travel to meet key customers and attend relevant trade shows. Build sales plans and implement strategies that result in customer retention and acquisition.
  • Sales Operations: Lead the team that manages wholesale-specific applications (e.g. the B2B website), produces sales reports, analyzes account sell-in / sell-through, and forecasts inventory needs.
  • Merchandising: Oversee the process of determining the seasonal, monthly, and at-once product offerings.
  • Shops: Oversee the management of the 47 independently owned and operated Life is Good Shops. Ensure that their assortment, marketing, and in-store experience needs are met. Travel to visit stores. Recruit new owners and encourage existing owners to open new locations.

Deliver and sustain outstanding service to customers through effective partnerships with the Life is Good Customer Care and Operations teams.

Deliver actionable insights through effective use of Life is Good analytical techniques, technology, and tools.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibility for an enterprise Wholesale business
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience
  • Proven track record of growing top and bottom-line results with a large team
  • Knowledge gained from a higher education degree
