The Hospital Interim Senior Director, Quality reports to the Hospital CEO and System Quality Officer. This role is responsible for the overall management of the hospital Quality program including the annual quality priorities, risk management and regulatory reporting requirements. The interim Senior Director is the operational leader for the Quality Management Department. Included in the position are the responsibilities for oversight of Joint Commission Survey Readiness, Performance Improvement, Clinical Quality, Quality Data Management and Patient Advocacy. The Interim Senior Director is responsible to implement organizational changes for an integrated quality management model.

Deliverables:

Maintain a collegial and collaborative environment of continual survey readiness and response.

Evaluate operational structure and processes within the department and ensure the structure meets the needs to support an effective Quality Program for the hospital.

Collaborate with hospital leaders to envision, develop, and implement the organization's quality and patient safety plan.

Coordinate and oversee hospital Quality Improvement Plan development, review, revision, and implementation.

Oversees regulatory readiness (TJC), quality measurement, public reporting.

Coordinate the process of monitoring, measuring, and assessment of patient care and support of systems to achieve high quality, safe and reliable healthcare services.

Establish quality measurement and improvement activities, including methods to track implementation of action plans following site surveys and critical events reviews

Develop, evaluate, and maintain quality dashboards and performance metrics.
